This Sunday: Pastor Chris presents new Praise Night

The highly anticipated 15th edition of the Praise Night event with Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is coming in just a few days.

LoveWorld members around the world are welcome to participate online or at the LoveWorld Crusade Grounds on Sunday, June 11th, at 3 PM GMT+1.

The live broadcast will be available on all LoveWorld Network stations.

After declaring June the Month of Prayer and Praise at the Global Communion Service, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome explained that the upcoming Praise Night is another opportunity to offer praise and worship God.

“The primary reason for our church gathering is to offer our praises to God. We are going to give God even more praise,” he stated.

“We are going to sing songs to him in praise. We will be rejoiced in singing no matter where you are in the world. You will also have the opportunity to learn many new songs,” the Christ Embassy founder added.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome also mentioned that the LoveWorld choir will sing at the event.

Lessons from the previous Praise Night

At the last edition of the Praise Night, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome instructed the audience to lift their hands to worship and honor God. He also instructed them to thank Him from the bottom of their hearts.

“What gracious words He speaks to us because of His love for us. Feel the presence of God here tonight and never let go of His sensation over you. You shall keep carrying that throughout your life,” he said.

After a singing session from the LoveWorld choir, the pastor told everyone to go through Psalms 19:1-10, which says: “How clearly the sky reveals God’s glory. How plainly it shows what He has done.”

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome explained that sincerity of heart and attitude are crucial when doing things for the Lord.

All hearts are searched by God, and He knows what is going on in our minds. He seeks a pure heart and a willing mind, according to the pastor.

Pastor Chris: “Remember that your praise to God must have meaning”

Later at the Praise Night, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome explained how to praise God with the utmost sincerity.

“Some people say they are praising God and all they say is, ‘Lord, I praise you.’ But the truth is that they have not praised Him,” the pastor explained.

“To give someone a gift, for example, you do not just say, ‘I give you a gift,’ and do nothing. You deliver the actual gift to the person. You do not give the gift with your mouth. You act on it,” Pastor Chris Oyakhilome emphasized.

“Remember that your praise to God must have meaning,” the pastor also stressed.
