Pastor Chris declares June to be the Month of Prayer and Praise

At the June edition of the Global Communion Service on Sunday, June 4^th, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome called on June to be the Month of Prayer and Praise.

The LoveWorld founder declared, “This month, we are praising God, we are praying, and we are prophesying.”

In explaining the uniqueness of June and how the Lord has taken us a step further, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome prophesied that praise, prayer and prophecy would come out of believers this month. He also stressed the importance of praising God and the true meaning of praise.

At the Global Communion Service, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome mentioned the Bible verses from Psalms 149:5-9, which says:

“Let the saints be joyful in glory. Let them sing aloud upon their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth and a two-edged sword in their hand. To execute vengeance upon the heathen and punishments upon the people. To bind their kings with chains and their nobles with fetters of iron. To execute upon them the judgment written. This honor has all His saints. Praise ye the Lord.”

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome taught that the saints of God, who have already been honored by God, should actively engage in utter praise for Him.

This happens while speaking the rhema of God in prayer and prophecy, executing judgment on all demons and enforcing the Lord’s will throughout the world.

A look back at Pastor Chris’ Month of Lights

Welcoming June, the Month of Prayer and Praise, also means saying goodbye to May, the Month of Lights.

One of the most significant LoveWorld events in May was the Your LoveWorld Specials season 7 Phase 4 hosted by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome.

There, he imparted spiritual insights to ignite faith, bring healing and inspire people to succeed.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome reminded participants that they were an extension of the ministry of the Lord. In another part of his speech, he presented a Bible quote from the Book of Isaiah, which shows how Isaiah managed to prophesy in the name of Jesus.

At the Your LoveWorld Specials, the pastor also spoke about the significance of having the consciousness of a God life.

“Long ago, I got a hold of the message of eternal life early in life and believed it. And went on to preach and teach how to live this life to the full above sickness, disease and infirmities,” he said.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome mentioned that he could still be rushed to the hospital sick in those early stages.

“On a certain occasion, I spent about ten days in the hospital, but I refused to give up because of the truth of the message of God,” he explained.

In situations like that, the pastor emphasized how people should believe in the life of Christ in them.

“I maintained my confessions of the divine life in me, and Satan was never going to get me to change my testimony. After God has talked to my spirit, I was divinely healed by the help of God,” he added.
