Powerful insights from Pastor Chris’ Global Fasting and Praying Service
“We are entering this very special month of May. It behooves us to be sensitive to the spirit of God; to know where we are at; to know what the will of the Lord is; to learn how to live our lives,” Pastor Chris Oyakhilome said.
He then went on to explain that people have to learn how to pay attention to the Holy Spirit that the Father has sent to guide them, to be their chief strategist.
The pastor emphasized his point by going through specific verses from the Bible where Jesus talks about His second coming.
It says in Mark 13:33-34 (KJV): “Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work and commanded the porter to watch.”
“Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even or at midnight or at the cockcrowing or in the morning: Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, watch,” it continues.
Pastor Chris: “There are many world leaders that have been blindfolded”
At the Global Fasting and Praying Service, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome pointed out that the statements from the Bible are of great significance. In those specific verses, Jesus compares himself to a man taking a far journey who gave different assignments to his servants and commanded the porter to watch.
He then let his disciples know that he was in the place of the porter. The porter is a doorkeeper, and he says that the porter needs to be watchful. As a doorkeeper, it always matters who comes in and who comes out.
“In this month of May, you must know that some of the most wicked activities are being contemplated by hell. There are many world leaders that have been blindfolded; they do not know from their left to their right, and they are being dragged in to do things that they would never do in their right mind,” Pastor Chris Oyakhilome said.
He then stressed the importance of remembering that God assigned angels to people on the day they were born into this world.
The first and primary responsibility of the angels is to protect people and to see to that, in time, people hear and receive the gospel for their salvation. As people progress in life, depending on what God has called them to do, He assigns more angels to them.
“Therefore, affirm to yourself and to God wholeheartedly that the enemy has no dominion in your home, body, finances or circumstances, in the Name of Jesus,” Pastor Chris Oyakhilome explained.
