Pastor Chris’ Your LoveWorld Specials Season 7 Phase 3 comes to an end
The event was streamed globally from Monday, April 17th to Wednesday, April 19th on all LoveWorld platforms, including CeFlix.
On the first day of this edition of the Your LoveWorld Specials, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome said: “We did not plan the events in our lives at all, but it was the plan of God, and He knew we needed it.”
The pastor went on quoting from the book of Luke 23:33-34 (KJV): “And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left. Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment and cast lots.”
Pastor Chris: “Those leaders who do not know what they are doing need forgiveness from God”
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome said that from the point of view of Jesus, those who crucified Him, including the leaders who condemned Him to death, have the greater offense. They are the ones who condemn righteous men to death. All of that is because they do not know what they are doing, according to the pastor.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome then asked, “How many leaders and state officials in the world do not actually know what they are doing?” He then answered by saying that, eventually, they are the ones who need the forgiveness of God.
“Think about nations destroying their future by borrowing money they cannot pay back. Essentially, those actions did not pay back in dividends but made things much worse for everyone involved,” he explained.
Therefore, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome instructed people to follow the righteous path of Jesus.
“When you have the mentality of royalty, you start to think differently”
On the second day of the Your LoveWorld Specials, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome quoted from Exodus, chapter 14. It says: “And the Lord said unto Moses, wherefore criest thou unto me? Speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward.” (Exodus 14:15 KJV).
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome explained to us that the people of Israel, like most people in general, are willing to settle for less once they become fearful.
The Hebrews angrily admitted to Moses, “For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians than that we should die in the wilderness.” (Exodus 14:12 KJV).
“When you have the mentality of royalty, you start to think differently,” Pastor Chris Oyakhilome stated.
“When Moses said unto the people: ’Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord,’ you should thank God for when we get pushed to the wall; sometimes you must be pushed that way to bring the best out of you,” he added.
