Pastor Chris’ LoveWorld Festival of Music and Arts kicks off

The LoveWorld community is counting down to Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s LoveWorld Festival of Music and Arts, which is set to take place at the LoveWorld Crusade Ground in Aseese, Nigeria from Wednesday, November 23^rd until and including Sunday, November 27^th.

The festival serves as a platform to celebrate the gospel of Jesus Christ through the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry.

According to the LoveWorld Festival of Music and Arts’ website, the event is for “all ages, languages, colors and peoples of the Earth.”

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome introduced the festival in 2015. This year’s edition is the third of its kind since then.

“We are so grateful to God for the impact we have made thus far since its inception in 2015,” it says on the festival’s website.

“The LoveWorld Festival of Music and Arts 2022, in this year of the ‘Gathering Clouds,’ there shall be a heavy downpour of the glory and blessings of God in music and all forms of the arts at the festival. The LoveWorld Festival of Music and Arts 2022 is an exhibition of the tools of Evangelism and Christian growth through our music and arts,” it continues.

Carnival with costumes from all over the world

The LoveWorld Festival of Music and Arts will consist of discussions, workshops, an exhibition, a trade fair, film premieres, a film festival, outdoor movie screenings, parades and carnival floats, a praise night with Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, music, dance, sports, a fashion show and a bonfire night.

The exact schedule has not been released, but in former years, the main event of the festival has taken place every evening from 6 PM to 10 PM GMT+1.

There, music, dance and theater acts were performed.

One of the highlights of the festival is the carnival with floats from all over the world.

“The carnival procession is a combination of themes, floats with each nation’s unique culture and character creating a sumptuous visual feast for the eyes. The previous carnival provided festival attendees with an unforgettable experience of vibrant parades as well as a grand finale featuring the best floats on the last day of the festival,” according to the LoveWorld Ministry.

Festival for kids

Another main event at Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s festival is the LoveWorld Festival of Music and Arts Exhibition.

There, businesses and organizations can connect with consumers and potential customers. With attendants from all over the world, these companies get the opportunity to gather thousands of international business leads.

While the adults participate in the festival, their kids can enjoy the LoveWorld Festival of Music and Arts’ Kiddies Centre.

The children can, for instance, paint and build with play dough or enjoy active games, jumping castles and jungle gyms.

There will also be sing-a-longs, story-telling, karaoke and dance performances, among other activities.
