Pastor Chris: “You have to make a decision about where you really belong”

From Wednesday, January 12^th to Friday, January 14^th, “Your LoveWorld with Pastor Chris” took to the airwaves for the show’s season 5 phase 1.

The three broadcasts marked the first round of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s prayer series in 2022, the Year of the Gathering Clouds.

Over the three days, the pastor, for instance, said that people have to decide if they belong to Jesus or to this world.

“The forces that are at play in this present hour are not having a game show. You have to make a decision whoever you are, wherever you are. You have to make a decision about where you really belong. Do you belong to Jesus, or do you belong to this world?” the Christ Embassy founder asked and added:

“And by the way, when I say ‘world,’ I want you to know that I am talking about this world and its system. In referring to the world as the Earth, it belongs to Jesus, including every human being in it. Even though many of them are rebels, He owns them. Because according to the scriptures, He bought the whole field.”

“He paid for everybody. He is the savior of the world, and He gave His life for every man. All that ever lived before Him – from Adam – and all who were to come after His death, burial and resurrection. He paid for the salvation of all,” Pastor Chris Oyakhilome emphasized.

Pastor Chris: “There is so much that we would never know”

During the last day of this phase of “Your LoveWorld with Pastor Chris,” he touched upon the importance of the Holy Spirit.

“I love the words of Jesus. Thank God for the Holy Ghost. Without the Holy Spirit, there is so much that we would never know. We would be at the mercy of those who claim to know something when in fact they do not. But Jesus told us that the Holy Spirit, our teacher, will be inside us.”

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome also made several remarks about Jesus over the three days of the show.

“The government of Christ, the power of the name of Jesus has continued. Make no mistake we are in the winning team,” he said.

“Jesus said, ‘The peace that I give you; is different from the world. The world’s peace is only in words,’” he continued.

The pastor then when on to connect Jesus and Satan.

“The only way Satan gets to run the world is when we are out of here. He was defeated by Jesus,” he said.

God’s abilities

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome also talked about God during the show.

“You have not asked God for anything that exhausts His ability. He is able to do exceedingly, abundantly and much more than we can think or imagine,” he explained.

Later on, the pastor again spoke of the Holy Spirit.

“Interestingly, unlike men of the world in history, absolute power corrupts absolutely, but the absolute power of the Holy Spirit is incorruptible. It purifies and births hidden mysteries. Trust in the truth,” the pastor underlined.

“Your LoveWorld with Pastor Chris” brings comfort

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome initiated the “Your LoveWorld with Pastor Chris” series in the spring of 2020 after his first Global Day of Prayer.

The Global Day of Prayer worked as his and Pastor Benny Hinn’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, which had just started getting its grip on the world at the time.

Since then, LoveWorld members have testified to how the “Your LoveWorld with Pastor Chris” series has become a place of comfort for them during the pandemic.

So far, more than 150 episodes have been produced.

Pastor Chris’ Global Days of Prayer

In between the “Your LoveWorld with Pastor Chris” sessions, the pastor has held Global Days of Prayer.

The Christ Embassy leader’s most recent Global Day of Prayer was at the beginning of December. It followed his prayer day in September.

“As many of you would remember, we started this in March 2020. 27^th of March… We began leading in prayer, and Pastor Benny Hinn and I led that particular session. We began this journey of prayer as the Lord was leading us, and I shared a lot of things with you about the day in which we are living,” Pastor Chris Oyakhilome said in September.

“I showed you from the scriptures what was going on and how to respond to effect changes. I told you what the plan was. I told you about the plans of the wicked one. I told you that Satan was behind his evil work. The work of darkness,” he added.

At the Global Day of Prayer in September, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome also talked about the Lord making us conquerors.

“Your name is exhorted above all. You are exhorted above all… Because you are greater than all. Thank you for making us your own. Thank you that we belong to you. Thank you for giving us your spirit. Thank you. You have made us more than conquerors, and you conquered the whole world for us,” he said.
