Pastor Chris presents September’s theme on Sunday

In less than a week, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome reveals the theme of September. It will happen at the monthly Global Communion Service, which will be streamed online at 4 PM GMT+1 on Sunday, September 6th.

Every month has a theme in the LoveWorld community, and this year, Chris Oyakhilome has, so far, led his congregation through the Month of Songs (February), the Month of Knowledge (March), the Month of Continuing Fasting and Praying (April), the Month of Opening (May), the Month of Prayer (June), the Month of Productivity (July) and now the Month of Recovery (August).

The first theme of this Year of Perfection was February’s Month of Songs, where the Christ Embassy congregation was lifted to a higher spiritual level through music.

That month, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome also joined his long-time friend Pastor Benny Hinn in Houston, Texas for a special broadcast of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s “Your LoveWorld” shows.

The Month of Knowledge

The Month of Songs was followed by March’s Month of Knowledge. That was celebrated with the official opening of the Engineering Faculty of the Benson Idahosa University’s new building in Benin City, Nigeria.

In 2015, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome donated $1 billion to the project.

The Month of Knowledge also marked the time where the coronavirus in earnest got a grip on the world.

The pandemic forced people and societies across the world to adjust their lives to a new reality consisting of social distancing, working from home and lots of alcogel.

At the end of March, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome teamed up with Pastor Benny Hinn again for a Global Day of Prayer against the COVID-19 pandemic.

The show was a massive success, attracting 3 billion online viewers.

The Month of Continuing Fasting and Praying

After the Global Day of Prayer, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome initiated a week of fasting and praying called “Your LoveWorld with Pastor Chris.”

At the same time, he declared April to be the Month of Continuing Fasting and Praying.

The Christ Embassy leader did indeed do that. He extended his prayer week and gathered 3.25 billion people in front of their screens for his Special Easter Sunday Service.

In April, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome also started distributing food relief packages to people who had been further impoverished by the pandemic.

They received food, Christ Embassy books and other necessities.

People in dire need in multiple countries revived Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s aid.

The Month of Opening

The popular “Your LoveWorld with Pastor Chris” broadcasts continued through May, which was named the Month of Opening.

At this time, the pastor also hosted a three-day-long Global Fasting and Praying session.

Like Pastor Chris Oyakhilome predicted, May did become a month of opening to many countries.

While Donald Trump demanded churches to reopen in the US, several Nordic countries had, more or less, already gone back to normal in many aspects of life.

May also became the time where the pastor expanded his distribution of food relief packages to include ministers of the gospel in need as well.

May was The Month of Opening in the LoveWorld community.

The Month of Prayer and The Month of Productivity

June, which was the Month of Prayer, included even more prayer weeks and another Global Day of Prayer.

Then came July, the Month of Productivity, where the popular “Your LoveWorld with Pastor Chris” broadcasts continued, and the LoveWorld nation announced an online Social Media Week.

The conference offered 70 seminars, 42 workshops, 14 product reveals and 14 keynotes.

According to LoveWorld, the purpose of the Social Media Week was to empower people to maximize the readily available technological tools for wealth creation, economic growth, career path interest and personal development in specific areas of interest.

The Social Media Week received praising words from Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, who called it “very powerful, enlightening and empowering.”

Month of Prayer

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s “Your LoveWorld” series continued throughout June, July and August.

The Month of Recovery

Shortly after the Social Media Week ended, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome announced that August would be the Month of Recovery.

At the beginning of August, Lebanon, which has a big Christian community, was hit by a tragic disaster. A huge explosion took place at the port of Beirut, killing at least 190 people, injuring 6,5000 and leaving about 300,000 people homeless.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and the LoveWorld community immediately started praying for the recovery of Lebanon and its people.

His prayer weeks has continued throughout the month and reached its 70th episode.

He and Pastor Benny Hinn ended August with a five-day-long Praise-A-Thon with special guests like Bishop Clarence McClendon, Pastor Dan Willis, Pastor James Payne and Dr. Richard Roberts.

And what does the Christ Embassy founder have in store for his congregation in September? Well, he just announced a phase 5 of the second season of “Your LoveWorld with Pastor Chris,” which is slated to begin on September 7th, the day after the Global Communion Service.

The pastor has also announced a Global Day of Prayer to take place from September 25th to September 26th.
