Pastor Chris declares October to be the Month of Peace

The LoveWorld Ministry welcomes October as the Month of Peace. Pastor Chris announced a new theme during the Global Communion Service on Sunday, October 2nd.

Our man of God Pastor Chris explained why he gave October this word:

“God doesn’t want us to be anxious, to have anxiety about anything. When you find yourself having anxiety, you’re walking away from the Word of God, you’re walking into Satan’s arena where he can take advantage of you.”

Such interpretation comes from Philippians 4:6-7 which says:

6Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

7And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

The next two verses also continue the theme of peace:

8Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

9Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

Last year, October was the Month of Visualization. This is the first time when peace is the word of the month in the LoveWorld Ministry.

October events: what to expect

Unlike the previous Global Communion Service, Pastor Chris has not announced the main events in October yet. Currently, the only information is about the LoveWorld Networks Prayer Conference. This is a 24-hour event slated for October 7th–8th at 6 PM GMT+1.

The conference takes place for the 4th time in a row. As before, it will be an unprecedented time of worship, praise, blessings, and intercessory prayer. The LoveWorld members ab=round the globe will make tremendous power available.

Everyone is welcome to watch the conference online on the LoveWorld USA website, all LoveWorld stations, Alpha TV, and Live TV.

No doubt, there will be more information about the upcoming events in October. Stay with us for more updates!

KingsChat users talk about October as the Month of Peace

Declaring October to be the Month of Peace could not stay unnoticed by KingsChat users. People started making welcome posts and sharing thoughts about a new month.

A user named Uduakobong Arua writes: “I speak peace to my City, my Nation, and the Nations of the world. Glory!”

Pastor Susan Ibrahim-Arasaf also shares: “I have Peace, I’m at peace, there’s Peace in my home, Peace in my city, Peace within my walls and without. It’s Peace all around. Thank you so much, Pastor. I Love you, Sir. I’m at Peace in the Lord.”

A blogger and SuperUser Sandra Unlimited posted: “Commanding Peace. I’m going to be chewing on those words nonstop. It is so pregnant with meaning.” Then, she continues:

“It is going to be such a month for us, for you, for me because there is a commanding peace. Lemme stew on today’s service… I feel relaxed… The peace inside is already marking attendance. How I love October.”

The other heartwarming words about the Month of Peace come from Florence Ihebuzo: “The month of October holds great peace for us.” It is hard to disagree with her!

Peace mentioned in the Scriptures

While studying the Bible, Christians can find out there are many verses on the theme of peace. During the Global Communion Service, Pastor Chris read about it from Psalm 122:7 which says:

“Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.”

Two other mentions come from John:

“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid,” — John 14:27.

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world,” — John 16:33.

The Scriptures mention this concept in several more chapters like Jeremiah 29:7, Matthew 10:11–15, and 2 Timothy 2:1–2.

Mentions in Rhapsody of Realities

In a daily devotional “Rhapsody of Realities”, there are many chapters dedicated to peace. In the chapter “Peace is from God”, our man of God interprets the same John 16:33 verse and adds his comments:

“The peace that you have in your spirit is the peace of Jesus Christ; it gives you power over crises. Even in adverse circumstances, when it seems there’s trouble everywhere, His peace garrisons your heart and mind, causing you to be at rest in prosperity.”

Pastor Chris also talks about peace in another chapter titled “A life of peace”. Here, our man of God reveals the secret about how to get peace:

“When people are flustered, distraught, disturbed and confused, it’s because they’re not being spiritually minded. The Word is clear: when you’re spiritually minded, you’ll have life and peace.”

Our man of God says a similar idea in another chapter titled “Let peace rule in your heart”:

“When you’re filled with the Spirit, your heart is ruled with peace and you live joyfully and in love, irrespective of the actions of others.”
