Christ Embassy members distribute Rhapsody of Realities in Nigeria

When Nigeria celebrated its 60 Independence Day on October 1st, Christ Embassy members in Cross Rivers State observed the holiday in a rather special way.

Noto only did the members of Christ Embassy Ministry Center in Calabar wear the Nigerian white and green colors, but they also did a road march, distributing Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s daily devotional, Rhapsody of Realities, to the residents.

The march was led by the esteemed Pastor Vale Odu-Thomas, who is the director of Christ Embassy Ministry Center in Calabar.

ReachOut Campaign in the United States

The distribution in Nigeria is part of the LoveWorld Nation’s ReachOut Campaign that seeks to spread the word of the Gospel.

When Americans celebrated their Independence Day on July 4th this year, members of Christ Embassy USA also went out in the streets to mark the day by handing out copies of Rhapsody of Realities to people.

The ReachOut Campaign is an annual event, and it is the biggest of its kind in the United States.

The event is ongoing, and the start of this year’s campaign was celebrated at a ceremony in Washington D.C.

Afterward, members of Pastor Chris’ Christ Embassy in Largo, Florida spread the word of the Gospel and distributed Rhapsody of Realities to people in the streets.

Bible quotes, prayers and further studies

Every day, Christ Embassy members read a new daily devotional in Rhapsody of Realities, which was written by Pastor Chris.

The devotionals consist of Bible quotes and Chris Oyakhilome’s comments to them, a prayer and suggestions to further studies.

The prayer of today, October 12th, goes like this:

“Dear Father, I take my place as a king-priest to effect changes all over the world. I put a stop to the evil machinations and maneuvers of Satan and declare that the light of the Gospel shines gloriously around the world, many who were hitherto in the paths of destruction are turned from darkness to light, and become partakers of God’s grace, love, and righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.”

Pastor Chris

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has scheduled a Global Day of Prayer for December 1st.

The Month of Proclamation

The Nigerian part of the ReachOut Campaign takes place in October, the Month of Proclamation.

Every month has a theme in the LoveWorld community, and this year, Chris Oyakhilome has, so far, led his congregation through the Month of Songs (February), the Month of Knowledge (March), the Month of Continuing Fasting and Praying (April), the Month of Opening (May), the Month of Prayer (June), the Month of Productivity (July), the Month of Recovery (August) and now the Month of Wisdom (September).

So far, the Year of Perfection has been heavily affected by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Chris Oyakhilome has done what he can to help people through this tough time by initiating Global Days of Prayer and prayer weeks.

In March, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and Pastor Benny Hinn hosted the first Global Day of Prayer. It turned out to be a huge success, as it was watched by three billion people.

In June, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome did a second Global Day of Prayer, and a third one took place on September 25th.

Another Global Day of Prayer has been scheduled for December 1st to 2nd.
