0Pastor Chris to announce the name of August today
Today, the calendar says August, and as it is the first Sunday of the month, it means that it is time for Pastor Chris Oyakhilome to reveal the word of the new month.
It will happen at his monthly Global Communion Service, which is taking to the airwaves today, Sunday, August 1st at 4 PM GMT+1 on all LoveWorld networks.
Welcoming a new month also means that Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and his LoveWorld Nation will part ways with July, the Month of Joy.
The Christ Embassy president presented July’s word in the following way:
“This month of July is the Month of Joy. We are going to joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ. We are going to celebrate like we have never done before. Very important. Every day of this month, we will celebrate and here is the instruction, you are going to organize Love Feasts throughout this month,” Pastor Chris Oyakhilome stated and continued:
“If you can have a Love Feast service every day throughout the month, do it. If it is twice a week that you can do it, do it. Do the best that you can do. Here is what you will do: We will sing songs of praise and thanks to God during those meetings. Prayers, exhortations, testimonies, food and drink. Each of those meetings, you will share food and drink.”
He then added that all the extra food and drinks should be donated to people in need.
Halfway through Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s Year of Preparation
At the beginning of every year and every month, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome presents a name for the respective year or month.
So far, he has taken his LoveWorld congregation through January – the Month of Celebration, February – the Month of Grace, March – the Month of Change, April – the Month of Truth, May – the Month of Illumination, June – the Month of Prayer and July – the Month of Joy.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome kicked in 2021, the Year of Preparation, by naming January the Month of Celebration.
“2021 is the Year of Preparation. In Heaven, preparation is being made, and I look… And all over the world, angels are out preparing people, helping with the word of God all over the world. I saw them working and working and working. I saw that the things around them did not matter. They were not distracted by the activities around them. They were just busy preparing people,” he explained.
“Why are they ignoring the things around them? They said that this is more important. ‘We are getting them set.’ Why? The Lord is coming soon. I looked, and behold, in the world of darkness, preparations were taking place. What are they preparing for? They are preparing for war because they know their time is short,” Pastor Chris Oyakhilome added.
A year full of events
Since then, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has led his congregation through multiple events.
Those include the 8 Days of Meditation, two rounds of the Healing School Live Healing Services Sessions, the Word Drive Study Series, several Global Days of Prayer, WordFest 3, the Easter Service, the Global Ministers’ Classroom, several phases of “Your LoveWorld with Pastor Chris” and finally a Global Communion Service every month.
One of the most impactful months was May – the Month of Illumination, which Pastor Chris Oyakhilome introduced with the following words:
“This month of May is the Month of Illumination. God’s plan is to have your spirit illuminated in such a way that the light will dawn on your spirit. As you study the word, as you meditate on the word, as you worship God, and as you pray, your heart will be illuminated by God’s word. Get ready for extraordinary illumination, hallelujah,” Pastor Chris Oyakhilome proclaimed at May’s Global Communion Service.
He then connected May’s theme to April, the Month of Truth.
“You know, I was thinking about something when the spirit of God was ministering to me about this month being the Month of Illumination… I was thinking… We just came from the Month of Truth. Now it is illumination. Think about it. People can have truths and not use it, but when it penetrates, it illuminates,” he stated.
Pastor Chris’ Month of Truth
The Month of Illumination was preceded by April, the Month of Truth.
“This month is the Month of Truth, and God is revealing his truth to you like never before. And you are going to walk in truth. It is so important to walk in truth to understand truth. God’s truth protects you. God’s truth delivers you. God’s truth saves you. You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Blessed be God,” Pastor Chris Oyakhilome explained.
“Open your heart to truth this month. To His truth. Not circumstantial truth, no. Not truth from men. His truth for His truth shall be thy shield. It is the Month of Truth, and God’s truth will prevail. God’s truth will triumph, hallelujah. Spread His truth everywhere. Tell His truth to the untold,” the pastor added.
