0Pastor Chris announces new Praise Night
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s Praise Night is set to return on Sunday, April 10th, which will mark the second such night in 2022, the Year of the Gathering Clouds.
No more information has been disclosed yet, but the Praise Night is expected to be available for live streaming on all LoveWorld tv channels and digital platforms.
The first Praise Night this year took place on Sunday, January 16th.
Back then, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome talked about the difference between honoring and celebrating men and God.
“When we honor God, we say that we glorify God. When we celebrate men, we do not say that we celebrate them. The terms are different. So, we can dance in celebration of men. We can clap, applaud in celebration of men. So, in a sense, what you are doing is that you are praising them for what they have done or represented. So, you are praising them in a sense. But when you praise God, you do not, say the same things. You offer thanksgiving,” the pastor stated and added:
“You do not dance to God the way that you dance to men. It is not the same. You can dance to men in celebrating them. You can applaud them. You do not applaud God.”
Pastor Chris to present April’s theme
The new Praise Night was announced just before the Global Communion Service of April. It is scheduled for today, Sunday, April 3rd at 4 PM GMT+1.
At the Global Communion Service, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is expected to announce the theme of April.
The pastor reveals a new word of the month at each of his Global Communion Services. March was called the ‘Month of Higher Heights.’
“This month of March is the ‘Month of Higher Heights.’ And I want to bring to you three important areas that the Lord wants to bring you to higher heights. He wants your attention this month. He wants your attention on His word this month. As you begin studying, do not be in a hurry,” the pastor said at the March Global Communion Service.
“This month, God is calling you up to give attention to His word so that it can stay in you. You understand it, and you will be able to teach it also. You share His word with others… God wants His word in you so much so that you also can teach others,” he said.
“God looks at our hearts”
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome also mentioned how God was pushing us forward.
“The Lord is telling you that this month of March, He is moving you from where you have humbly been to a higher and more honorable position of prominence. God is moving you forward from where you have humbly been. A lot of times, we serve God in humility, and God looks at our hearts. He sees us where we are, and we do not try to project ourselves, but we serve Him faithfully, and that is what He wants,” he said and added:
“God’s plan and purpose and His calling in your life is bringing you into a knowledge of spiritual realities. Opening the eyes of your spirit. You are going to have spiritual revelations this month of March for a higher walk with God. Your spirit will be educated in the things of God, enlightened in the things of God.”
