0Pastor Chris adds “Your LoveWorld” phase 7
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has extended his popular “Your LoveWorld with Pastor Chris” prayer series for another five days.
The new prayer week, which is the seventh phase of the second season, commences on Monday, October 26th and ends on Friday, October 30th.
All broadcasts can be live streamed every day at 7 PM GMT+1 on all LoveWorld networks.
Chris Oyakhilome initiated the “Your LoveWorld with Pastor Chris” shows at the beginning of April. The broadcasts proved to be very popular among the Christ Embassy members, so the show has been extended over and over again, now lasting almost half a year.
So far, more than 75 episodes of “Your LoveWorld with Pastor Chris” have been produced.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome introduced the prayer weeks as an extension of his first Global Day of Prayer with Pastor Benny Hinn, which took place on March 27th.
The two pastors prayed against the coronavirus that had just gotten its grip on the world at that time.
The show was a huge success, gathering three billion online viewers.
Throughout the past months, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s prayer weeks and Global Days of Prayer have become a place for LoveWorld believers to find comfort during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome also added Global Days of Prayer in June and September and another one is slated for December 1st.
Busy weekend ahead for Pastor Chris
The upcoming “Your LoveWorld with Pastor Chris” broadcasts take place in a very busy week for Pastor Chris Oyakhilome.
On Saturday, October 31st, the day after the prayer week ends, the pastor is hosting a WordFest Extravaganza to celebrate the end of almost a month of meditation on God’s word.
WordFest’s first season ran from May to June this year and ended with a 24-hour long WordFest Extravaganza live broadcast with testimonies and divine messages. Whether the upcoming Extravaganza will be as long is still unknown.
WordFest is a special festival of meditation on God’s word. The concept is that existing and new subscribers to the Pastor Chris Digital Library can get free access to divine messages from Pastor Chris Oyakhilome through the WordFest program.
Subscribers will be able to watch, listen to and meditate on a specifically selected message every day, as each day has a new theme.
Along with the daily message comes a study guide, which simplifies the meaning of the divine words.
According to the LoveWorld Nation, WordFest’s purpose is to build up and strengthen the faith of God’s people during this time of adversity that the world is facing.
You can sign up for the Pastor Chris Digital Library and take part in WordFest 2020 here. Lots of believers have already joined the online event and are sharing avatars of their participation on social media, using the hashtag #WordFest2.
Pastor Chris reveals new theme of the month
The WordFest Extravaganza comes before the Global Communion Service, which is set for the following day, Sunday, November 1st.
During the service, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome will present the theme of November.
The pastor has named 2020 the Year of Perfection and every month has a theme.
So far, Pastor Chris OYakhilome has led his congregation through the Month of Songs (February), the Month of Knowledge (March), the Month of Continuing Fasting and Praying (April), the Month of Opening (May), the Month of Prayer (June), the Month of Productivity (July), the Month of Recovery (August), the Month of Wisdom (September) and now the Month of Proclamation (October).
The first theme of this Year of Perfection was February’s Month of Songs, where the Christ Embassy congregation was lifted to a higher spiritual level through music.
The Month of Songs was followed by March’s Month of Knowledge. That was celebrated with the official opening of the Engineering Faculty of the Benson Idahosa University’s new building in Benin City, Nigeria.
In May, the Month of Opening, the pastor hosted a three-day-long Global Fasting and Praying session.
June, which was the Month of Prayer, included even more prayer weeks and another Global Day of Prayer.
Then came July, the Month of Productivity, where the popular “Your LoveWorld with Pastor Chris” broadcasts continued, and the LoveWorld Nation announced an online Social Media Week.
Shortly after the Social Media Week ended, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome announced that August would be the Month of Recovery.
At the beginning of August, Lebanon, which has a big Christian community, was hit by a tragic disaster. A huge explosion took place at the port of Beirut, killing at least 190 people, injuring 6,5000 and leaving about 300,000 people homeless.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and the LoveWorld community immediately started praying for the recovery of Lebanon and its people.
In September, the Month of Wisdom, the LoveWorld Nation started building a LoveWorld Medical Center in Nigeria.
And during October, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has been hosting WordFest.
